Known as Palacio Marqués de la Sonora, Palacio Solecio is a historic building from the 18th century that has been renovated maintaining the original architectural and artistic style. The palace was owned by Félix Solesio, a Genoese who settled in Malaga to direct the Real Fábrica de Naipes de Macharaviaya, created in 1776 at the express wish of José de Gálvez, Minister General of the Indies of the Court of Carlos III and Marqués de la Sonora.
