Meet Casual del Mar Málaga, a theme hotel belonging to the Casual Hoteles chain. A recently built 3-star hotel, located on Avenida de la Aurora 9 in the Malacitan capital, which is a tribute to the marine world and, of course, to the Mediterranean.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city, 10 minutes walk from the historic center, 5 minutes from Soho and 15 minutes from the city beaches.
Among its services it has a dining area for breakfast, free Wi-Fi inside the hotel and wireless to accompany you on your visit to the city, 43″ LED TVs, and 28 centimeter thick mattresses. The mattress is the same features used by our CEO, Juan Carlos Sanjuan, who “was tired of not being able to sleep at home”.
We also have our free baby packs, with cot, bathtub, backpack and stroller chair. Likewise, we maintain our commitment to travelers with pets, so like all hotels in the chain, we are a “petfriendly” establishment and we offer a package composed of bed, portable drinker and snack. Your pet will stay free if you book through our website.

Casual del Mar Málaga is also a solidarity establishment; we collaborate with Save The Children, an organization with which we have created a “solidarity room” in each hotel to promote child protection projects and to which it allocates part of its billing. We are also part of the Friends of Unicef Hotels initiative, which helps to combat the impact of climate change on children, especially the lack of clean water.
Casual del Mar Málaga is the third establishment of Casual Hotels in Andalusia, next to Casual Don Juan Tenorio Sevilla and Casual de Las Letras Sevilla. In addition, it plans to open a hotel in Cadiz by 2020. Currently, Casual Hotels has 16 establishments in 8 different destinations; Valencia (6), Madrid (1), Seville (2), Malaga (1), Bilbao (2), San Sebastian (2), Lisbon (1), Porto (1), and, soon, Cadiz.

We have 46 rooms, triple, double and quadruple, distributed on a single floor and, in each of them, you can “dive” in seas and oceans around the world. The decoration is one of the aspects that most attracts the attention of our customers. It was attended by the French artist and painter Philippe Boonen, who covers part of the hotel’s facilities and rooms with his works. Philippe has worked for brands in the fashion industry such as Channel, Dior or Andrés Sardá, and has illustrated stories for children, comics and even clothing and is recognized for his ability to recreate in a surprising way nature or the animal world. Another outstanding aspect is the attention we give to our guests, having managed to become the best rated hotel in the area, something we strive for every day.
Casual del Mar Malaga, innovation and premium services
We have four areas of rooms, dedicated to Seas and Oceans, Marine Animals, Sea Fiction (books and movies) and Mythical Beaches. It was the first hotel of the chain to have premium rooms, “Casual Stars”, rooms with twenty percent more space than required by the regulations, and with extra exclusive services, so you feel like a star.
