Asociación de Empresarios Hoteleros de la Costa del Sol (AEHCOS) is constituted as a Professional Business Organisation for the management, representation, development, and defence of the general, common and specific interests of associated business owners and businesses in the province of Malaga.
Since it was founded in 1977, AEHCOS has been a key piece of the history of Andalusian tourism and a protagonist in the main events that have shaped the tourism industry in Malaga.
Their partners represent hotels, tourist apartments, hostels and inns. Over 40 national and international hotel changes are represented in their portfolio.
It’s important to note that approximately 250 hotel establishments are members of AEHCOS, which represents over 88,000 tourist lodging rooms, which makes up approximately 85 % of the total hotel rooms in the province of Malaga.
Also, it has over 70 collaborative businesses related to the world of tourism, which support the special conditions of the partners, intensifying the work of the association towards continuous improvement in the Costa del Sol destination.
With this information, AEHCOS is the largest hotel association in Spain, whose members create over 10,000 direct jobs.
